Icewine, White12 %% alc/vol
Frisson d'hiver is a ice wine made with these vines : Chardonnay 50%, Riesling 50%. It is soft and fruity with a rate of alcohol per volume of 12%, and with 180 to 200 grams of residual sugar per liter.
Food wine pairing:
Of yellow color straw, this ice wine is pure fruit flavour; apricot and mango flavour persists for a long time in mouth. Its liqueur-like brings a smoothness which can support high acidity. It is the elixir of special occasions, a treat between buddies whose best friend is foie gras. One must drink it alone to appreciate all the smoothness of Frisson d'hiver.
